Hubit Technology have developed a solution for Car Parks in locations with poor or no Cellular Connectivity & no power infrastructure.

The ‘Lake District National Parks’ wanted some of their more remote car parks to have the option to pay for parking by credit card. Hubit provided a satellite solution with power being provide by a Solar Panel allowing a totally off grid solution.

By utilising the Iridium Certis 100 service and its robust network of 66 satellites, that provide constant coverage over the UK, customers can enjoy a fast, touch-and-pay experience similar to that of other UK car parks.
