Tektelic KONA Atex Mega Ex Gateway

The TEKTELIC KONA Mega Ex Gateway is a high-capacity LoRaWAN® gateway designed for explosive-atmosphere deployments requiring rugged, reliable network connectivity. With ATEX and IECEx Zone 2 and 22 certification, an IP67 enclosure, and a hardened carrier-grade design, it is built for environments where combustible gases, vapours, liquids, or dust may be present.

The KONA Mega Ex supports 32 + 4 receive channels with multiple antenna configurations for improved coverage and reception, while its integrated cellular modem, Ethernet backhaul, GPS synchronization, and flexible power options provide reliable deployment in demanding locations. With support for up to 12 million received messages per day and in-service configuration and software updates, it is well suited for pipelines, mining, refineries, chemical facilities, and commercial grain production.
