TFT’s have evolved over the last years from the standard aspect ratios of 4:3 and 16:9/10 to fill a market for more customized sizes. These sizes are fulfilled by tooled masks from the manufacturers or by secondary resizing (often referred to as TFT cutting).

From a cost point, a tooled mask normally provides the most efficient ,however if you have a particular size you wish to fill, let us your maximum dimensions and we will provide a screen as close as possible to your request.

In retail signage, we recommend a reasonable brightness to compete with the store ambient light, so 400 cd/m or above is recommended. To help with power management and not to use additional electricity, our monitor units are equipped with serial interfaces that can be interfaced from your signage players. This allows checking that units are on, setting brightness levels and turning off at the end of the day.
